This closely linked to the history of our own country. After the tax from the tea act of 1773, America Rejected Tea sold by the British East India Trading company, and went to the cheaper alternative of coffee. This brought it to the masses, and began its march towards global domination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-text-subtitle is-style-text-subtitle--1\">Types of coffee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most popular form of coffee in the world is the pour over. It is a process where you pour hot water over coffee in a paper filter. This process is the basis of the drip coffee machine. It yields a fast to make a cup of decent quality coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"http:\/\/dmsctejeffcep.webhostingforstudents.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Coffee.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Percolated coffee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The older brother to the modern day drip coffee machine is the percolater. It has one major down side, of it resteapes the coffee multiple times, Causing it to become bitter, it was very uncommon to drink coffee black. Most people who drank percolated coffee though as it is far less bitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"854\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 480 \/ 854;\" width=\"480\" controls loop src=\"http:\/\/dmsctejeffcep.webhostingforstudents.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Percolator-2.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Espresso<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>currently the king of caffeine, espresso uses pressurized water to put he coffee grinds under pressure. You also have to grind the coffee finer to allow for the extraction process to work faster. It was called the Moca pot to use it you would fill the bottom with water, a cup of coffee, and then screw it together. Placed upon a source of heat, It would force the water upon the coffee with steam pressure, When Pressured it would make a noise that sounds like the word Moca.
